Sharing First Harvest
Sharing First Harvest is an effort to engage and inspire Rotarians around the world to develop Rotary-based efforts to reduce hunger in local communities. There are many instances of Rotarians helping at local food drives and participating in volunteer efforts at their local food banks. Two examples of projects that RFH has had a direct connection to are First Harvest of Oregon and an effort in New Orleans to gather oranges and other fruits from local groves.
Are you a Rotarian who would like to help end hunger in your community? Please contact RFH to find out how we might be able to assist you in accomplishing your goals. We want Rotarians around the world to find the weakest link in the hunger response chain in your area and make it the strongest.
