Rare Scotch Tasting, Learning and Food for Eight


Gather friends and family and sit at the feet of informal Scotch master Jim Tanasse to enjoy a Scotch tasting, education session and food for 8 people.  Jim has generously provided tasting parties for several local charities for the past decade.  His Scotch tasting journey began 35 years ago and now he shares insights into how to taste and pair Scotch with food.  

This package includes Scotch tasting from the six regions of Scotland, with special food pairing of meat and cheeses to complement each of the whiskeys, for 8 people.  Access to the tasting venue, an elegant home in the greater Seattle area, is included in this package.  The evening will finish with a fine bottle of Port and cigars.

Week-long Trip for Two in Tuscany


Spend 7 days in the Old Medieval District of Cortona, Italy—an award-winning Tuscan hill town, flagged by the Italian Touring Club and featured in blockbuster movie Under the Tuscan Sun.  Your local host will meet you in a café for a briefing, during which you’ll learn about Cortona’s most interesting assets. Your host will also introduce you to local chandlers who will show you what they are working on in the back of their shops.

The apartment is located in an ancient palace dating back to the 14th Century in the heart of the Etruscan town of Cortona.  Beautifully restored and furnished.  Great for 2 people.  It has a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with king size bed plus and en-suite bath, as well as WiFi, SAT/TV, washing machine, iron, central heating, and hair dryer.  Reserve Saturday through Saturday.
